“COUP DE COEUR”
- Special wine issue of the “Cuisine et Vins de France" magazine for our Muscadet Clos les Montys,
- Guide HACHETTE des Vins 2007, for our Muscadet Granit de Château-Thébaud:
"A special mention for this exceptional vintage at Château de la Chauvinière, which overlooks the Maine river and where the Huchet family looks after its vintage wines with art. The 2001 vintage has a highly complex dried fruit nose, which gives it an original profile. It proves very well balanced in the mouth. Its liveliness is enhanced by a dash of balsam followed by flavours of brioche bread and dried fruits. This wine, which is already exquisite, can be laid by for several years. Try it with a fricassee of oysters and scallops.
A great success, Domaine de la Chauvinière sur lie 2005 (3 to 5 €) has mineral fragrances and a sprightly character which gives a full expression to its granite terroir.
